When to send a change order
Use one when a request changes an approved deliverable, exceeds revision limits, adds meetings or stakeholders, changes dependencies, or compresses the schedule. Price and approve the change before continuing whenever possible.

- Describe the added request in concrete terms.
- Show the fee and schedule impact together.
- Offer to keep the original scope as an alternative.
